Duncan Foley on History of Economic Thought

Duncan Foley, who taught me advanced microeconomics and mathematics, and in my opinion the best economic educator around, gives a lecture on the history of economic thought in his development.

    Just to say hello, and go yey, Duncan was really good in that talk, and even more so at the later dinner where I admit to cornering him, and being taught a thing or two about micro-foundations.

    Was a good conference all around, and I’d encourage anyone to have a look at the History of Economics Society’s conference and the papers – who knows – you might enjoy reading about weapon manufacturing economists (Judy Klein), Why Judas would never have taken only 30 pieces of silver (David Levy & Sandra Peart) or maybe just have a look at where it all came from.
