IS LM and Beyond.
This lecture will (re)introduce you to the IS-LM model, give it's historical antecedents, and set us up for the study of more rigourous and interesting models. The handout is pretty technical, as is the presentation, but we will move slowly through the derivation of this macro model for methodological reasons, as well as grounding the idea firmly in your minds.
You can get the notes for the lecture here, the slides are on slideshare now, and of course the scribe's notes and the podcast will be up after the lecture.
